The Pier is our monsoon spot, on the harbour side of Thong Sala, at The Pier Resort.
We ride here from May to October, when the wind swings round to the West. This is the monsoon season: conditions are less settled than during the thermal season, with more rain and thunderstorms — but the wind can be strong, and on some days genuinely powerful.
Sessions are planned around the weather and the tide. The team checks the forecast and our live weather station every morning, then confirms the meeting point for the day.
Equipment travels with the team: the rental shop stays at the Thong Sala base, a few minutes away.

Accrokite's main base, hosted at Slumber Party Beach Club & Resort. The spot of the main season, on a thermal south-east wind that is usually the most regular and the strongest of the year.
