Here we have a flat spot in a lagoon of white sand protected by a coral reef, clear water 30° all year. We are the only school in this area so there is a lot of free space.
This is the main spot of Accrokite Koh Phangan, we are there the biggest part of the year, from middle December/January to middle of April/May/June. The wind direction is South-East at that time so it's really side on, perfect safe direction for beginners or advanced riders.
The depth is between 0,5m and 1,5m depending on the tide, super easy to teach as you can stand up everywhere on the spot. Wind is between 10 and 15 knots, sometimes 20/25 and more.
Then on the same spot we have another wind season in July, August, sometimes September and October. The wind direction is South-West/West at that time so it's side-on/side cross shore, safe direction for beginners and advanced riders.
The tide is very low at that time so we mix lessons by boat (Zodiac) in deep water when the tide is too low in the lagoon and early morning or evening time in the lagoon when the tide comes up.
Wind is between 10 and 15 knots, sometimes 20/25 and more.
We have here a purpose built rental shop right on the beach with chill out areas and hammocks and a perfect sand bar for beginners to pro riders !
